The government has shut down 7 unregistered news portals in Sylhet

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has started the process of shutting down the country's unregistered news portals.

On Monday, 178 news portals, including 7 unregistered ones in Sylhet, were shut down.

The portals of Sylhet are - banglakhabar.com, Sylhet24.news, Projanmerdak24.com, Dailybdnews.net, Sylhetpress.com, Dainikrajaniti.com, DailySylhet24.com.

The information was given in a press release signed by Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Muhammad Delwar Hossain on Monday.
