Bangladesh defeated India in a breathtaking match


India has not lost any match in the current Asia Cup. Bangladesh finally tasted their defeat. Tigers defeated Team India by 6 runs in the last duel of Super Four.

Set to bat with a target of 266 runs at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Friday (September 15), India suffered an early setback. Rohit Sharma and Tilak Verma returned after Tanjid Hasan Tamim.

Tawheed Hriday and Shakib Al Hasan brought Bangladesh back into the match after losing four wickets for 59 runs. Shakib got out with 80 runs off 85 balls with 6 fours and 3 sixes. The 101-run partnership with Hridiya was also broken due to the departure of this star cricketer. Then Tawheed picked up his second consecutive half-century.  

Shami was caught by Tilak Verma while scoring 54 runs off 81 balls. Then Nasum Ahmed showed surprise with the bat. He got out with 44 runs off 45 balls with 6 fours and 1 six. Mahedi Hasan and anointed Shakib added 27 runs. Mahedi scored 29 runs from 23 balls and Shakib remained unbeaten with 14 runs from 8 balls. Shardul took 3 wickets and Shami took 2 wickets for India.
